Today at Love My Art Jewelry, I did a post talking about reusing and using more things in my stash to make beautiful packaging. I really wanted to make a video talking a bit more about it….so here it is…please forgive me for my camera shyness. I use way too many “ummmms and likes”…. :)
I’ve had this do-hickey I bought for my iPhone several months ago and I’ve yet to put it good use so here goes….I haven’t made a proper video since September of last year so I though it was about time!

Love what you have made, you have made the beads speak for themselves!
wonderful post! look forward to hearing about your earring card in detail… i try to do this as well… or my bubble mailers are ones i have received – never new… have had fun with the insides of yogi tea boxes of late! your work is so meaningful – and the detail you put into every aspect of your business makes what you are doing even more so…
You brave, brave gal!!! Love your video and envy your ability to get it ‘out there’. I think it came across as very genuine, can’t wait to see more.
It’s so lovely to see you and hear you talk Barbara!! So lovely! <3
I feel I still have a slight struggle with how to package what I sell, and I have not yet completely found my own style and way of going about in. So I am eagerly consuming things like your videos and articles on the subject. I feel I share the same ideals as you do on the subject. Looking forward to coming vlogs and articles. Thank you for this one! :-)
It was so cool to ‘meet’ you via your vlog…and you are so on target about making the packaging match the product. This is an area that I really need to work on. Thank you for the wonderful resources and prompts on how to develop the ‘full package’….
Right now I use blank business cards to make my earring cards and tags for my jewelry. They are very plain, mostly because I’m not so good a doing graphics on the computer. I’ve been wanting to make my own cards that are a bit more artistic without overshadowing the jewelry. I love the painted part at the top of your card. Do you cut out your own cards or do you purchase these in this shape?
Thanks so much for the information! Nice job on the video!!!
I love your video and I think you are beautiful inside and out! What an artist you are indeed! The inner definition to me of “handmade” was so nice to see in this day. Thank you for letting me take a moment into what I think my son would truly like his creations to show! Thank you!
I love the idea of using tag stock for display cards…I can finally unite my love of card making with my jewelry making…I am inspired. And a props to you for having the courage to venture into video blog…you come across as very personable. A grain of salt suggestion…can you move the camera down a bit…I think it would help with eye contact. Looking forward to more video blogs…enjoy the day…Lizz
